Welcome to my LiveJournal! Well, I could tell you that this is not as sophisticated compared to other Journal user's page. It’s just that this is how I express my self: by momentarily designing my journal.

I have two journals at home. One is my journal for the books I had read. It all started when our English teacher asked us if we could keep track of the books we had read during our SMART (Stop Moving And Read Thoroughly) period in school. Since I have no choice but to follow, I did everything that was told to us. And lo and behold! I never found myself indulging in two to three books in a month since I was born but now I can even measure up to five! The second just came up lately. It’s my journal I had when we attended our retreat in Mendez, Cavite, Philippines. It is where I usually write my heartaches and problems. It’s really great that you are able to rush everything into writing. But most of the times, I write in there my wishes, hopes and dreams. Even prayers! Though I found it corny the last time, I think that it will also be good for me for the following times.

I am Czarina May Bantay and you can call me ‘bAntAy’. I am also a 15-year-old senior student studying at St. Scholastica’s Academy in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. I believe in the saying that it’s all in the name so let me tell you what my name means. Czarina means a wife of a Russian Czar, which literally makes me a queen while May, or Maia is a Roman Goddess. In short, I am more of a celeb. Hah! Of course I’m just kiddin’! But my surname ‘Bantay’ in Filipino means guard, or a picket, much to my dismay. So I can say that I’m a guard queen in a goddess!

My hobbies are reading books (number one!), writing poems and fanfictions (not really good at ‘em and you can see my stories at www.fanfiction.net. But since I won’t be giving to you my pen name, you won’t be able to access on them!O: Why do I have to be so mean?), eating (tons and tons of food!) and sleeping (zzzzz!C:).




I love seeing movies since this is our (Mom and me) hobby. But now she won't be able to come with me because she's currently in Korea. My favorite movies were:

• Troy – I watched this movie twice but the first time I did, I can’t damn understand it! I just paid attention to how cute Brad Pitt was and that’s all!But after I learned in our English class that it was based on a famous Greek epic by Homer (Iliad), I went back to it. Though I prefer reading the text, Brad Pitt made it easier for me to catch up.


• Finding Nemo – Waaaaah! Haven’t I told you that I’m more on animated movies these days? I adore Dori in there! She’s so cute and most of the time, I’m like her. You know, after three seconds, I tend to forget what happened. But most of the time, I can also say that I could be trusted, just like her! Anyway, what was I talking about?O:


• So Close – Well, this was I think a Korean movie that I saw last January 21, 2004 while we were on the way to Women’s Ecology and Wholeness Farm. And I’m not familiar with the characters because I was a bit dizzy but I was able to keep up. The characters were so great!


• Princess Diaries – One and two! Wow! I hope I could be like her!


• Ice Age – Waaaaaah! They are sooo stupid! And the baby there is so cute. That’s where I learned the value of friendship even during cold times!O: I adore the each and everyone of them!
